Wimberley ends Badgers’ tennis season in quarterfinals

Lampasas tennis faced an uphill battle and saw its season cut short Monday morning, falling in the regional quarterfinals to defending state champion Wimberley 10-1.
The match Oct. 12 marked the furthest the Badgers had advanced since their semifinal appearance in 2017. Coach Kenneth Peiser said he was proud of how far his team had come.
