Last Tuesday and Wednesday, Lampasas football players took on Gatesville in 7-on-7 play for the first time in what will be a three-week stretch of the Hornets coming to town.
On Tuesday, the middle school teams played against Gatesville. That was their first taste of 7-on-7 action this year. They were followed by the freshman, junior varsity and varsity groups competing on Wednesday.
