The Kempner City Council received good news on its 2022-2023 fiscal-year independent audit during its meeting last week.Jon Watson, of BrooksWatson and Co., revealed the city had garnered a clean audit, earning an “unmodified” opinion.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation Service is opening a special disaster sign-up for $5 million in additional funding through the Environmental Quality Incentives Program for farmers and ranchers in the Hill Country who have been affected by recent flooding.
