The 52nd annual Spring Ho Grand Parade made its way through the downtown streets of Lampasas on Saturday, with the Mezger family serving as parade marshals for the 2023 gala. After judging of float entries, the Spring Ho Committee released the following as winning parade entrants.

Saturday night’s Concert on the Square saw the biggest crowd of the entire Spring Ho festival week, as Josh Ward hit the stage with opening act Triston Marez.

Two former Badgers take tandem adult win at annual kayak races

Aden Rascoe and Tate Rainwater were the fastest on the water during Saturday’s Spring Ho kayak races, as they took home first place in the tandem adult category. The second-place finishers were Chris Everett and Rachel Fire. The rest of the results are as follows.

Providence Christian Academy in Lampasas has some upcoming events to put on the calendar for those who are interested. A fundraiser will be held July 20. From 5-8 p.m. that evening, the Chick fil-A in Copperas Cove will donate 15% of its proceeds to the school.

County fair winners named during Spring Ho

Winners were named across nine divisions at the County Fair, held last week in conjunction with Spring Ho festivities. Judging took place Thursday, July 6. Members of the 36 Club hosted the event at the Lampasas County Office Building conference room.
