Historical commission recognized for its work

Twelve members of the Lampasas County Historical Commission were at Monday’s Commissioners Court meeting to accept recognition for their efforts.The Lampasas County Historical Commission is a recipient of the Texas Historical Commission’s Distinguished Service Award for 2023.

Members of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas, Lampasas County Historical Commission, city of Lampasas administration, Lampasas City Council and community members gathered Wednesday morning at Hancock Park to celebrate the work that is soon to begin on the Hostess House.
