U.S. Rep. August Pfluger visited with area Republicans last week at Putters & Gutters Fun Center, where he outlined priorities in a GOP-backed “Commitment to America.” Goals of the plan are to restore the American way of life by ensuring the safety and security of communities and preserving freedoms under the Constitution; to rebuild the economy and end U.S. dependence on China; and to renew the American dream through quality education, debt reduction and support for veterans and senior citizens.
