Leaders discuss ways to improve Lampasas

The city of Lampasas and Lampasas Economic Development Corp. hosted a community stakeholders meeting Wednesday evening at the old middle school cafeteria to collaborate on ways to improve the Lampasas community.

Key Avenue Traffic Signals

The Texas Department of Transportation is scheduled to begin upgrading signal lights this week along Key Avenue and at the intersection of U.S. Highway 190 and Loop 257 (East Fourth Street) near Walmart. The work is expected to take three or four days, weather permitting.

Providence Christian Academy holds annual fundraising banquet

Providence Christian Academy of Lampasas held its third annual banquet and fundraiser on Nov. 8, in the Lampasas Methodist Church fellowship hall.The audience was entertained by the students’ production of an original allegory, “Rock the Boat,” written and directed by the academy’s theater and P.E.
