FOOD PANTRY St. Mary Catholic Church’s Food Pantry Ministry will hold its next drive-through food distribution on Friday from 9:30-11 a.m.

Events are available at the Lampasas Public Library this month for people of all ages. “How Pinteresting!” will be held in the library’s Foundation Room today from 5-7 p.m.

A group of Christmas carolers brought the Christmas spirit to the recent Carol of Lights festivites. They serenaded a large crowd assembled outside the county courthouse before the parade rolled through the downtown square.

This most wonderful time of the year is known for cozy weather, family gatherings, and delicious holiday meals and treats. Often, these foods are high in calories, saturated fats, sodium and added sugars.

Even though it’s the Christmas season, autumn is still here, and leaves are continuing to fall across the state. Those leaves build up around homes and yards.

Copperas Cove authorities are investigating the death of a Kempner man after a two-vehicle collision Wednesday evening. The Copperas Cove Police Department said Ali Hussein Ibrahim, 34, was pronounced dead in an area hospital after his vehicle struck a construction vehicle in the 1800 block of East Business U.S.
