Agencies pay respects to fallen deputy

In honor of fallen Bell County Sheriff’s Department Deputy John Rhoden, the Lampasas Fire Department and Burnet Fire Department raise the American flag over North Avenue on Friday shortly before the funeral procession entered Lampasas. Rhoden was a 2006 Lampasas High School graduate who died in the line of duty on April 26, assisting with a vehicle pursuit.

Governor Greg Abbott issued several updates and clarifications to executive orders, several of which will allow more businesses to reopen in the coming days.
