Comptroller’s office certifies local appraisal district values

Susan Jones, chief appraiser of the Lampasas Central Appraisal District, has announced that LCAD received a good ruling from the state comptroller regarding local property valuations. After several years of struggling to keep pace with the rapidly advancing property values, Jones said the appraisal district passed the Property Value Study conducted by the Texas Comptroller’s Office and achieved a range of 95%-105% of sales prices on local properties.
