An elderly woman died after her car went airborne and landed in a creek.
On Sunday at approximately 11 a.m., Texas Department of Public Safety troopers responded to a one-vehicle crash four miles north of Lampasas on U.S. Highway 281.
According to DPS Sgt. Bryan Washko, troopers located a 2008 Honda Civic on its side partially in Lucy Creek.
