City Council votes to increase its fees for water, electric and trash service
Lampasas City Council unanimously approved an increase in water, electric and solid waste services in a Monday meeting.
The council voted to increase water rates by adding $2.25 to the monthly base rate and an additional $0.10 per 1,000 gallons used. The electric rates will increase by $0.007 per kilowatt hour, bring the rate from $0.0403 per kwh for residential customers to $0.047 per kwh.
