According to Lampasas Police Department officials, commercial truck traffic coming into the city on FM 1478/Naruna Road is required by city ordinance to travel along Howe Street to North Avenue/FM 580 before then heading east to Key Avenue. The Lampasas Police Department has taken action to mitigate an increase of truck traffic on Naruna Road, officials said.
In a public announcement on social media, police said there has been a notable increase in truck traffic on Farm to Market Road 1478, known as Naruna Road and Howe Street within Lampasas city limits.
