State, local officials report minimal electric impact during storm

Lampasas County was practically shut down for two days, as were surrounding counties, due to the latest winter storm to hit the state. The storm made its way to Texas in the late hours of Feb. 2, with freezing rain and high winds. County officials closed their offices Thursday and Friday, and schools were shut down.
