A group of 56 Lampasas County parents, leaders and Scouts from Troop 200, Troop 400 and Pack 100 were among the 320 people to stay aboard the USS Lexington on a recent February weekend. The Scouts slept in bunks similar to what sailors would have stayed in when the ship was active. Tours on board showed the youth how the ship operated.
