The Texas Comptroller’s Office has released statistics about the February sales tax allocations to local jurisdictions, showing that their payments continue to grow.
The February checks are based on sales made in December that were reported in January by businesses that file monthly with the state, and fourth-quarter sales by those that file their taxes quarterly.
