The city of Kempner welcomed the Christmas season with its second annual Christmas in the Park celebration. The event was held at Sylvia Tucker Memorial Park Friday evening. Activities began at 4 p.m. and finished with a screening of Dr. Seuss’ “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.” Attendees were welcomed by City Secretary Hayleigh Talasek, who served as event coordinator.
