The Lampasas Police Department welcomed two new officers to the city last week and continues the search for additional officers.
Chief of Police Jody Cummings said the department recently hired two veteran officers, Jacob Loeve and Jeff Phillips. One will take the role of school resource officer, and the other will serve as patrol officer.
