The Lometa City Council dealt with several personnel issues at its regular meeting on April 3. The agenda also included an item on what to do with unused police cars.
The council declined a request to pave Walnut Street, citing a lack of available resources.
“It’s one of our lower-traffic streets. Of course, we’d love to pave everything,” Councilman James Dickison said.
