The owner of a Lometaarea winery has begun the process to petition for an election to allow the sale of alcoholic beverages in Lampasas County Precinct 2.
Greg Gissler, who owns Stoneledge Winery & Vineyard with his wife, Deborah, will collect signatures over the next week in order to begin a brewery at their location.
