The city of Lampasas will hold a public hearing on the 2022 proposed tax rate Sept. 7 at 5:30 p.m. at the Calvert Municipal Building, 302 E. Third St.
The proposed rate is $0.3156 per $100 in property valuation. The rate at which an election must be held to seek voter approval is $0.3157, according to calculations provided by the appraisal district.
