One of the plans the Lampasas Independent School District has to safely reopen its schools will result in spending about $5.4 million over the next three years.
Funding will come through the state's Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) Fund. All funds must be expended by September 2024.
The ESSER grant is federally funded through the American Rescue Plan.
