City Manager Finley deGraffenried has announced the hiring of a new assistant city manager for Lampasas.
Ryan Ward, of Santa Fe, New Mexico, accepted the position and will start his employment here at the beginning of January, city staff told the Dispatch Record on Monday.
Ward was chosen from more than 30 applicants through a nationwide search.
