Kempner Water Supply Corporation has rescinded a boil water notice on Friday morning.
Due to an 8-inch leak that occurred on Twin Mountain Road, Texas Commission on Environmental Quality regulations required a boil water notice for all customers, KWSC officials said in a news release. The notice was issued on Wednesday at about 11 a.m.
“The public water system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the quality of the water distributed by this public water system used for drinking water or human consumption purposes and has provided TCEQ with laboratory test results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling prior to use as of July 14,” KWSC officials said.
This recension applies to those who were listed in the original Boil Water Notice, which can be found on the KWSC website.
Those with questions may contact Kempner Water Supply at 512-932-3701 or 254-547-9430.
