Summer fun was in full effect over the weekend, as the city of Lampasas Parks and Recreation Department hosted a KidFish and Camping in the Park event last Friday and Saturday at W.M. Brook Park. The event began at 5:30 p.m. Friday with registration and safety information. Children were split into age groups: 2-6 years, 7-11 years and 12-16 years.
