KEMPNER — Kempner has filled its associate municipal judge vacancy, with City Council selecting City Secretary Shaleah Stevens for the role.
Council members chose Stevens Oct. 13 on the recommendation of Municipal Judge Gene Isenhour. Kempner has been without an associate judge since former City Secretary Hayleigh Talasek left late last year.
