Group works to establish hike and bike paths at 580 Sports Park

By 9 a.m. Saturday morning, the faint echo of power tools could be heard in the back of the 580 Sports Park. Members from the Lampasas Trails hike and bike group already were at work trimming limbs and brush for the creation of a 7.7-mile trail that is anticipated to see completion by mid-winter.
