Mr. Skiles
Former county commissioner Jerry Hubert Skiles died on Oct. 2, 2022, at his home in Lampasas. He was 73.
A funeral service was held at New Covenant Church on Oct. 5. Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel had charge of arrangements.
Skiles was born on Aug. 8, 1949, in Cleburne to Robert Glenn Skiles and Annie Lee Paris.
He grew up in Lampasas and graduated from Lampasas High School in 1967.
