Lometa city officials have confirmed that municipal records have been turned over to District Court authorities due to an ongoing investigation.
City Attorney Raika Rowe, of Guevarra Law P.C., confirmed that a warrant was issued by 27th District Court of Lampasas County on Nov. 7 and was executed by the Texas Department of Public Safety Rangers Division the following day.
