Lampasas County 27th District Court convened last week with Judge Debbie Garrett presiding over the day’s hearings.
Defendant Britten Marguerite Will of Kempner was given eight years’ deferred probation on a charge of cruelty to a nonlivestock animal: kill/ poison/cause serious bodily injury. In addition, Will is to pay a $2,000 fine and restitution of $1,500.
