The Lampasas County Commissioners Court approved a Fiscal Year 2023 budget Thursday evening in a called meeting after its public hearing.
FY 2023 general fund expenditures total $10.3 million, and the budget is balanced, according to County Auditor Tragina Tallant.
The budget reflects a 15% decrease in the county tax rate from $0.6850 to $0.5815 per $100 in property value.
