The Lampasas City Council voted to allow swimming and kayaking in Sulphur Creek and held off on Economic Development Corp. board appointments due to citizen requests.

In a meeting Monday evening, the City Council unanimously agreed to update a city ordinance and pursue signage to allow for swimming in Sulphur Creek.
