Council, EDC discuss building delays, substandard properties

City Council and Lampasas Economic Development Corporation board members sat down last week to air frustrations over slow development and what to do about run-down properties.
The two bodies met Oct. 21 for a joint workshop on building regulations and substandard properties — their first meeting since 2025. No action was taken, and talks centered on direction, process and priorities.
