Bright lights, loud sirens and holiday music ushered in the parade escort carrying Santa Claus to the city of Lometa’s seventh annual Hometown Holidays event. Hosted at Lometa’s fire station, the family event was a cooperative effort organized by Mayor Stephen Brister Hicks, Municipal Court Clerk Stephanie Sweet, and the city’s fire and police departments.
