Less than a month after a busted mainline had Lampasas residents boiling water for 61 hours, Lampasas City Council approved a contract with a firm that will investigate alternative sources of water for the city.
During a meeting Monday evening, the council unanimously approved a contract with Jones-Heroy & Associates, Inc. for a water study at a cost not to exceed $55,000.
