Lampasas City Council and Kempner Water Supply Corp. have agreed on the joint purchase of an emergency generator to prevent power loss at a local pump station.
KWSC General Manager Bruce Sorenson brought the item to the city’s attention after a three-hour power outage at Pump Station 195 on June 20 that left several water facilities without power and many Kempner residents without water.
