The report from the Aug. 24 Lampasas Cattle Auction follows.
Cattle and calves: Total cattle 312, compared to 574 last sale and 586 at this time last year. Compared to last sale, feeder steers were steady; heifers $5-$7 higher. Slaughter cows and slaughter bulls were $3-$5 higher.
