The report from the Jan. 6 Lampasas Cattle Auction follows.
Cattle and calves: Total cattle 451, compared to 558 last sale and 752 at this time last year.
Compared to last sale, feeder steers and heifers were steady to $3 higher. Slaughter cows and slaughter bulls were $3-$5 higher.
Feeder cattle accounted for 73 percent. Slaughter cows and bulls accounted for 27 percent.
