Lampasas County Judge Randy Hoyer has authorized lifting the county’s burn ban through Sept. 20 at 6 p.m. The order allows controlled fires outside Lampasas, Kempner and Lometa city limits.
Hoyer may reinstate the ban, however, if weather conditions create a wildfire risk. To verify the burn ban status, visit www. co.lampasas.tx.us.
