ATLAS Ride kicks off cycling treks for cancer research

Cyclists start the 25-mile ATLAS Ride on Saturday at Stoneledge Winery near Nix. The ATLAS Ride kicked off the Texas 4000 cancer-research fundraiser. For many years, Texas 4000 riders have concluded in Alaska. This year, however, the four separate routes of 4,000 miles or more all will stay within the continental United States.
