Red Cross holds March blood drive

The American Red Cross Community Blood Drive saw 72 donors scheduled for its March 10 event at First Street Church of Christ’s Family Life Center, drive coordinator Wanda Lang reported.Sixty-seven units of blood were collected.

Local family honored by Daughters of the Republic of Texas

Earlier this month, the Oran Milo Roberts chapter Daughters of the Republic of Texas held a program hosted by Jani Edwards that highlighted her daughter, Caety Edwards, and her love for Texas.Caety Edwards is the late daughter of Jani and Mickey Edwards of Lampasas.

Patriot Academy class to be offered at library

Lampasas-area residents are invited to a twosession, video-based course on “A Blueprint for Rebuilding Liberty, Just in Time for America’s 250th.”The class will be led by Charley Kennington and is hosted by the Lampasas Public Library and Lampasas County Chamber of Commerce.
