LCSO welcomes new deputy

The Lampasas County Sheriff’s Office has a new deputy ready to serve.Faith Anderson, one of 26 recent graduates from Central Texas College’s Police Academy, officially stepped into her law enforcement career after months of training and preparation.

Speaking contest winners named

Youth Advocates for Agriculture Lampasas County offered a public speaking contest to kick off county livestock show activities last week. Eight FFA members from Lampasas and Lometa participated in the inaugural contest.
