The Central Texas Hay Production Workshop is set Sept. 29 from 9 a.m. to noon. Registration that morning is at 8:30 a.m. at the Burnet County Extension Office, 607 N. Vandeveer St. in Burnet.
Cost of the workshop is $15. An RSVP to 512-756-5463 is requested by Sept. 26.
Topics will include fire ecology, prussic acid and nitrates in sorghum, and hayfield and pasture recovery.
