More than 100 pounds of unwanted medicines collected during Take Back Day

Through a partnership between the Lampasas Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration, more than 100 pounds of unwanted prescription drugs were received during the recent National Prescription Take Back Day. At the collection site at the police station, Lt. Charlie Boswell and Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association members collected eight boxes weighing a total of 144 pounds…
