Yelp blog writer Samantha Visone has authored a post on “The top 30 German eateries worth traveling to this winter.”
Coming in at No. 20 on the list is Eve’s Café in Lampasas. It is the only German restaurant in Texas to make the top 30 listing.
Eve’s has been a popular local eatery since 1995, when Eve Sanchez opened the business on the courthouse square.
The blog states that it identified eateries in the United States listed in the German category on Yelp, then ranked those businesses using a number of factors, including customer volume and review ratings.
Eve’s, at 521 E. Third St., is open for lunch on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and for lunch and supper Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
