A household of three people was displaced Monday morning after a kitchen fire led to significant damage to their home on East Third Street.
Lampasas Fire Chief Jeff Smith said firefighters received a report of a structure fire in the 1400 block of East Third at 6:05 a.m. All three residents were inside the home at the time the fire began but were able to safely evacuate without injury, he said.
