The Lampasas County Museum is hosting an Operation Longhorn exhibit to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the “invasion” and “liberation” of Lampasas during the largest military exercise ever held in the United States. The exhibit will run through July 9.
A short video is available, along with a display of items from the 1952 military operation and “rescue” by the 82nd Airborne Division.
