A Countdown Celebration will take place Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 182 Old Austin Rd. in Lampasas. This event will kick off the Operation Christmas Child shoebox gift collection season for the Mid-Texas Area.
National collection week is Nov. 15-22.
