Hunters from around the state soon will descend on Lampasas County and the surrounding areas as they search this fall for the buck of a lifetime.
The general deer hunting season officially starts next week, and as the Lampasas County Chamber of Commerce does every year, it will celebrate with a Hunter’s Welcome all day on Nov. 3.
