The report from the June 1 Lampasas Cattle Auction follows.
Cattle and calves: Total cattle 774, compared to 341 last sale and 201 at this time last year.
Compared to last sale, feeder steers and heifers were $5-$7 higher. Slaughter cows were $2-$4 higher, and slaughter bulls were steady.
Feeder cattle accounted for 66 percent. Slaughter cows and bulls accounted for 34 percent.
