    Kempner Volunteer Fire Department’s major fundraiser of the year is planned for April 19.

    The KVFD BBQ & Auction event will begin with the box sale at 12:30 p.m. The barbecue lunch starts at 1 p.m., and the auction will open at 3 p.m.
